PURPOSE: A shopping cart having adjustable width is provided to improve the mobility because the width of the shopping cart is automatically adjusted with a drive motor. CONSTITUTION: A shopping cart having adjustable width comprises lateral frames(10), transverse bars(20a~20e), a handle bar(30), a front part(40), a bottom part(50), and a rear part(60). The lateral frames are equipped with wheels on the bottom and form a pair by being connected to the transverse bars. The transverse bars and the handle bar are fastened through coupling between a threaded pipe and a threaded shaft, and a motor is installed on an end of the threaded shaft. The front part, the bottom part, and the rear part have a structure in which a movable plate is slid in and out of a receiving plate.
