PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal device which prevents odor problems or hygienic problems from happening when crushed garbage residue goes into a water supply pipe from a water supply port, and bacteria propagate in stay water in the water supply pipe; and whose execution of water supply pipe works is easy. SOLUTION: The garbage disposal device 3 is provided at a drain port 4 of a sink 1, crushes uncrushed garbage thrown in and discharges the crushed garbage with cleaning water. The garbage disposal device includes: a garbage slot; a garbage treatment chamber 5 where the input uncrushed garbage is stored; a water supply means which supplies cleaning water to the garbage treatment chamber; and a crushing means. The water supply means and the garbage treatment chamber 5 are connected via a water supply pipe 20b. The water supply pipe 20b is provided with a hose member connected to the water supply means and a connection member connected to the water supply port provided at the garbage treatment chamber. The connection member has a bending part, is rotatably connected to the water supply port and provided with a rotation control means to control the rotation of the connection member so that the inclination does not become an inverse inclination against the water supply port.
