PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline composition having an excellent fuel consumption (fuel economy). SOLUTION: The gasoline composition has a total naphthene content/total paraffin content of 0.3-8.0, a research method octane number (RON) of ≥89.0, a motor method octane number (MON) of ≥80.0 and a Reid vapor pressure (RVP) of 50-93 kPa.
