<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker using an infrared sensor accurately measuring the temperature of a pan without being affected by infrared radiation energy radiated from a top plate. <P>SOLUTION: This induction heating cooker includes an inverter means to supply high frequency power to a heating coil, an infrared sensor to detect infrared radiation energy radiated from the pan through the top plate, a temperature sensor closely attached to the lower surface of the top plate below the pan to detect the temperature of the pan through the top plate, and a control means to incorporate infrared radiation energy radiated from the top plate in advance in accordance with the detected value of the temperature sensor, compute the temperature of the pan from infrared radiation energy excluding the infrared radiation energy radiated from the top plate in accordance with the detected value of the temperature sensor, and control switching-on of the high frequency power to the heating coil based on the temperature information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
