<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polygon mirror capable of preventing the contamination of the reflection face of the polygon mirror due to the adsorption of environmental dust and partial reduction in reflectance by a transparent protection film having excellent antistatic characteristics, and also capable of being used to be recycled. <P>SOLUTION: The polygon mirror 101 is made of aluminum or an alloy including aluminum as a base material, a plurality of reflection faces 105a, 105b which reflect light from a light source are formed on the base material by a cutting work, and the transparent protection film is formed on the reflection faces. The transparent protection film has electric resistance of 1×10<SP>10</SP>Ωm or smaller and hydrophilic property reduced to the contact angle with water of 10°or smaller. Thus, the transparent protection film works as a conductive body or a semiconductor for static electricity, and the adsorption of dust due to charging and the contamination of the reflection faces are prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
