<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus allowing double-sided printing to be efficiently performed while allowing satisfactory images to be formed. <P>SOLUTION: When a request for double-sided printing is received (S11), an image is printed (S12) on one surface of paper P in a printing unit. When the printing of the image is finished on the one surface of paper, the paper P is guided from the printing unit onto a switchback upstream route and the paper P is conveyed (S13) until an end of the paper P reaches a port of a switchback part from the printing unit. In this event, a fan is provided on the upstream route, thereby the paper P is cooled down (S14) by sending air toward the one surface of the paper P when passing therealong. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
