PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having good chemical resistance, wherein when the composition is used as a rubber member for a conveying roller of sheet glass, a worn powder of the rubber member produced by conveying the conveyed article hardly adheres to the sheet glass. SOLUTION: The rubber composition includes 100 pts.mass of a vinylidene fluoride-tetrafluoroethylene-hexafluoropropylene copolymer rubber, 0.5 pt.mass or more and 3 pts.mass or less of an organic peroxide, 1 pt.mass or more and 5 pts.mass or less of a polyfunctional unsaturated compound, 5-60 pts.mass of carbon black, and 1 pt.mass or less of an inorganic compound excluding carbon black. There is also provided a rubber member obtained by molding the rubber composition. This rubber member is suitable as a rubber member for a conveying roller or a seal used for a conveying equipment in the place where the conveyed article is not wetted with a medical fluid or the like, and a cleaning equipment and a wet etcher requiring chemical resistance.
