PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the confirmation of the shape or the like of a root canal and the accurate measurement of a distance from a reference position to an apical part before root canal treatment, and to display the distance that the front end of a root canal treating implement has moved from the reference position in real time during root canal treatment. SOLUTION: The CT image of a tooth 7 to be treated is displayed at image display means 61, and the shape or the like of the root canal 73 is confirmed. CT image length measuring means 24 measures the distance from the reference position to the apical part 72 on the basis of the displayed CT image, and the measured length is displayed at length display means 62. Further, during the treatment, treating implement distance measuring means 5 measures the moving distance from the reference position of the front end 32a of the root canal treating implement 3, and the measured distance is displayed at distance display means 63.
