<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and light-weight protective cover for liquid crystal display device improved in abrasion resistance, which has functions of protecting a liquid crystal display device and converting linearly polarized light from liquid crystal display into circularly polarized light or elliptically polarized light, in order to prevent an image on a screen from being obscured even when a user of a liquid crystal display device observes the screen with polarizing spectacles on. <P>SOLUTION: The protective cover for liquid crystal display for protecting the display screen of a liquid crystal display device including a polarizing plate on an observation side has a polymethyl methacrylate resin layer on at least one surface of a polycarbonate resin layer, and changes the linearly polarized light projected from a liquid crystal display device into the circularly polarized light or elliptically polarized light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
