PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce both weight and cost, by shortening a distance between mutual travel wheels, in a stacker crane. SOLUTION: This stacker crane is provided for transferring an article W between a plurality of article storage shelves 13 of a rack 2, and has a front side mast 22A extending in the vertical direction, a lifting base 27 liftable along the front side mast 22A, and the travel wheels 23 installed on the front side mast 22A.
