<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation sheet for an elbow easily mountable on the elbow of an existing pipe even in a narrow space. <P>SOLUTION: The sound insulation sheet 4 for an elbow comprising a sound insulation sheet mainly composed of a sound absorbing material of a foamed resin sheet, and having band-like parts 2 at both ends wound around the outer peripheries of pipe ends of the elbow, and pleats 3 formed on both sides of an intermediate part, forms a bowl-shaped part 9 matching the outer shape of the elbow by making end faces of the pleats to butt to with each other, and end faces of the band-like parts to butt to end faces of the pleats, and by sticking an adhesive tape 14 having stretchability and waterproofing properties thereon. An intermediate fixing tape piece 10 long enough to go around the elbow is formed by extending a part of the adhesive tape, and end fixing adhesive tape pieces 11 are provided on the circumferential faces of the band-like parts for winding around and fixing the band-like parts to the outer peripheries of the pipe ends of the elbow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
