PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily correct parallel deflection and focus deflection even when posture of a photographing system changes. SOLUTION: The photographing system performs vibration-proofing operation for reducing image blur. The photographing system includes an acceleration detection means 210 detecting acceleration applied to the photographing system, and a control means 201 controlling the vibration-proofing operation based on the acceleration detected by the acceleration detection means. The control means controls the vibration-proofing operation, when variation width within predetermined time of at least one of the acceleration detected by the acceleration detection means, angular velocity of the photographing system detected by an angular velocity detection means 211 and a focal state of the photographing system detected by a focus state detection means 106 is smaller than a predetermined value, and restricts the vibration-proofing operation, when the variation width thereof is larger than the predetermined value.
