<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for growing and maintaining plants, protecting plants from a storm while preventing dryness of plant roots and keeping a constant temperature. <P>SOLUTION: This device for outdoor hydroponics with a darkroom includes a plant cultivation box provided each with a root holding chamber in the inside of the box made of a heat insulating material, and a planting hole opening to the root holding chamber on the box upper plate, retaining roots in the root holding chamber in a heat insulating constant temperature state in a condition of extending the leaf and stem part of a plant planted in the planting hole to above the box, and provided with a means of stocking a culture solution in the root holding chamber. The device performs sunshine hour control by installing the darkroom on a shelter zone set on the lower level of the plant cultivation zone, and holding many of the plant cultivation boxes in the cultivation zone in the darkroom in a condition of stocking a culture solution in each of the root holding chambers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
