PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent supply of hot water of high temperature in resupplying hot water after utilization of hot water supply. SOLUTION: A hot water supply heat exchanger 7 is heated by starting combustion of a hot water supply burner 10 when an amount of water flowing by opening a hot-water tap 9 reaches a set operational flow rate or more, and hot water is supplied through a hot water supply passage 11. The hot water supply passage 11 is configured by disposing a vertical region formed by rising upward from a position near a connecting section with the hot water supply heat exchanger 7, and a draining unit 1 is disposed in the vertical region. A draining passage 4 for discharging the water to the external is connected to the draining unit 1 through an opening/closing valve 3 for draining, and an operation for opening the opening/closing valve 3 for draining is started when a water temperature of the draining unit 1 reaches a predetermined high-temperature hot water discharging set temperature or more, thus the draining passage 4 and the draining unit 1 are communicated, and the heated water in the hot water supply passage 11 is discharged to the external from the draining passage 4 through the draining unit 1 with a flow rate less than the set operational flow rate.
