<p>Arm of a forklift fork, comprising a substantially horizontal arm (1) having a supporting surface (1d) for supporting and carrying a load. In one example, the arm (1) is also provided with a carriage (2) which also contains a supporting surface (2a) for supporting and carrying a load, wherein said carriage (2) is arranged to move in parallel to the arm in relation to the supporting surface (1d) of the arm. In one example the carriage (2) comprises a caterpillar track for moving. In one example the arm (1) comprises two adjacent arm parts (1a, 1b) fastened to each other, between which parts said carriage (2) is located. In one example the arm (1) is provided with several separate units (8), each containing members by means of which the load is capable of rolling in parallel to the arm (1).
