<p>A method and system for realizing multi-session service continuity are provided. The method includes: when a user equipment (UE) performs handoff from a packet switch (PS) domain to a circuit switch (CS) domain, the first session is chosen out of sessions in which the UE participates according to the set policies, and the CS domain participant identification is generated for the specific participant of the first session; the CS domain participant identifications are also generated for the multi-session service participants except for the specific participant according to the set rules; after receiving a transfer request transmitted by an enhanced Mobile Switch Center (eMSC), a service continuity application server (SCC AS) chooses the first session according to the policies, renews the remote media of the first session, and transmits information of all the participants to the eMSC, wherein the information of the specific participant is placed in the predetermined specific position in the information of all the participants; the eMSC generates the CS domain participant identification of the participant in the specific position, and generates the CS domain participant identifications of the other participants based on the rules according to the information of other participants; the UE performs multi-session service with the remote end of each session through the eMSC by using the CS participant identification.</p> |
