PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily designate a destination by maintaining an address book appropriately reflecting a history, when the destination is designated using the address book for transmission. SOLUTION: A CPU executes a program including a step of moving the destinations which are registered in the address book but not used for a fixed period to an aggregation folder, a step (S1210) of reading out an automatic return condition when an address in the aggregation folder is designated as a destination (YES at S1200), a step (S1230) of displaying an automatic return confirmation screen when the address designated as the destination satisfies the automatic return condition (YES at S1220), and a step (S1240) of changing the attribute of an address use management table.
