PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow water splashed up by a front wheel to be hardly splashed on an air cleaner in a scooter type vehicle. SOLUTION: In the scooter type vehicle, a step floor 3 for resting feet of a rider thereon is provided between a front wheel 1 and a seat 2, a part below the step floor 3 is covered by an under-floor cover 4, the under-floor cover 4 is constituted of a floor side cover 7 and an under-cover 8 having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and an intake 15 of an air cleaner 14 is located above and behind the step floor 3. Vehicle-width-direction water drip ribs (43-46) projecting outwardly in the vehicle width direction from the under-floor cover and extending in the vertical direction are arranged in front of the air cleaner 14, and a longitudinal rib 47 is provided along a joining part 48 of a floor-side cover 7 with the under-cover 8 to suppress ingress of the water splashed up by the front wheel 1 in the intake 15 traveling the under-floor cover 4.
