<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of improving the detecting speed of an input position. <P>SOLUTION: The input device X1 is provided with: a base substance 10 having translucency; a plurality of detection electrodes 21 and 31, installed on the base substance 10, and for detecting the input position; and connection electrodes 22 and 32, installed on the base substance 10, and electrically connecting detection electrodes 21 and 31 adjacent to each other.
