LINING STRUCTURE AND LINING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining method for easily lining an intersection part between a main tunnel and a connecting gallery of a tunnel. SOLUTION: The method for lining the intersection part 28 between the main tunnel 20 and the connecting gallery 22 of the tunnel includes steps for installing a support member 2 with an opening 16 at the intersection part 28 and allowing the main tunnel 20 to communicate with the connecting gallery 22 through the opening 16; providing the intersection part 28 with lining plates 30 with a space between themselves and an inner wall 21 of the main tunnel 20 and supporting the ends of the lining plates 30 between the bottom of the main tunnel 20 and the upper part of the support member 2; and placing mortar 31 between the lining plates 30 and the inner wall 21 of the main tunnel 20, between the support member 2 and the inner wall of the main tunnel 20 and between the support member 2 and an inner wall 23 of the connecting gallery 22.
