PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of facilitating inspection of connection of a voltage application line. SOLUTION: A control means 60 of the image forming apparatus causes a first voltage generation circuit 53 which is one of a plurality of voltage generation circuits to generate an inspection voltage Vds and to apply the inspection voltage Vds to a second voltage generation circuit 54 different from the first voltage generation circuit 53 via a first voltage application line L3 corresponding to the first voltage generation circuit 53, an inspection jig 100 and a second voltage application line L4 corresponding to the second voltage generation circuit 54. A determination means 60 determines that each of predetermined voltages (DCLNA, TRCC) is adequately applied to unit attachment components via the first voltage application line L3 and the second voltage application line L4 in a case where an inspection current detected by a current detection section 92 is equal to or larger than a predetermined value in response to the application of the inspection voltage Vds.
