<p>PURPOSE:To decrease deflection of guide pins and to improve reliability of operation, by forming a pair of right and left guide pins such that each of their extended ends which supports frictional pads has diametrically different portions, that is, enlarged and reduced portions diametrically. CONSTITUTION:The pin type disk brake has guide pins secured at their intermediate portions, respectively, by right and left arms 4 of a support 2 extending from a body secured portion. One end of the guide pin 5 supports calipers 6, and other end of the guide pin 5 supports longitudinally movably inner and outer pads. The guide pin 5 has two diametrically different portions, that is, on its extended side that supports the pads 8, 9 and over a spared part extending from the support 2 to an edge of the disk 1, has a diametrically enlarged portion, and over a volumetrically limited part extending from the edge of the disk to the pin guide tip, has diametrically reduced portion.</p> |
