<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus of uniform liquid dispersion and effective gas- liquid contact, by providing vertically 2 steps of perforated plates, of which a lower plate has the percentage of open area less than that of an upper plate, between a liquid feed-in port of a horizontal gas-liquid contact apparatus and a packed layer. CONSTITUTION:Between a liquid feed-in port 4 and a packed layer 1, 2, perforated plates 5, 6 having regularly arranged many holes are provided vertically in 2 steps, and furthermore, the average percentage of open area of the lower plate 6 is less than that of the upper one 5. Hereupon, even in a case of using a conventional gas-liquid contact apparatus used in a limited height, the gas-liquid contact is effectively improved because of the uniform liquid dispersion in the packed layer 1.</p> |
