<p>The method involves cutting profile sections (1) of a frame profile or a wing profile, and connecting the profile sections with each other to a closed frame or a wing at a cutting point (11). A glazing bridge (2) is arranged in the profile sections in a slot that is defined for receiving a glass plate (3). The glass plate is inserted into the frame or the wing and rests on the glazing bridge. The glazing bridge is inserted into the profile sections, after cutting the profile sections and before connecting the profile sections to the frame or the wing.
