PURPOSE:To increase the idle revolution only in the cooling mode operation of an engine to improve the combustion characteristic by providing in series springs which operate at the temperature of the lubricating oil of the engine, with respect to the springs capable of stabilizing the internal-combustion engine at an idling state and made from a configuration memory alloy. CONSTITUTION:The governor comprises an idle spring 8 capable of operating only when the internal-combustion engine is idling to thereby stabilize the internal-combustion engine to the idling state. In this case, in a casing 7 provided with the above spring 8, is provided a spring 21 made from a configuration memory alloy with respect to the above spring 8 through a spring seat 20A of a pump rod 20 with a spring seat. In the cooling made operation of the internal- combustion engine, only the idle spring 8 is caused to act in the direction of increasing the quantity to increase the idling revolution. On the other hand, in the warming mode operation, the spring 21 made from the configuration memory alloy is caused to act in the direction of decreasing the quantity to decrease the idling revolution. |
