摘要 Method for optical time division multiplex transmission via an optical waveguide of a switching system. A multiplicity of system devices capable of transmission and/or reception are connected to the optical waveguide, between which transmission of control signals, which set system devices, and subscriber information is provided. In the pulse frame defined by frame identification signals, a first block of time slots serves to transmit the control signals and a second block of time slots serves to transmit the subscriber information. Each transmission-capable system device contains a control memory in which memory spaces are allocated individually in each case to one of the time channels of the first block, which memory spaces in turn store whether the allocated time channel is occupied by a system device transmitting a control signal. The transmitting system device selects a free time channel of the first block by means of its control memory and occupies it. The system device designated to receive the subscriber information is then occupied, while the other transmission- capable system devices similarly store the occupancy of this time channel. The frame identification signal (RK1, RK2) in each case contains a short light flash whose intensity is significantly greater than the maximum intensity of the subscriber information and control signals in the first and second block (B1, B2). The light flashes synchronise the addressing of the control memories. <IMAGE>
