<p>PURPOSE:To prevent inversion of a color difference signal which occurs in an encoding stop mode by giving conditions to chrominance signal processing during the encoding stop mode in an action mode just before it shifts the encoding stop mode. CONSTITUTION:An encoded time-sharing multiplex signal transmitted from the transmitting side is added to an decoder 23 through an interface 22 at the receiving side. In case of frame-skipping field, an output of the decoder 23 becomes a zero level and for an output of a memory 25 at the receiving side, that is, an output of a selector 35, an output of the 1st field memory 33 is selected. As a result, a signal of the previous field is outputted as an output of an adder 26 without processing. A separator 24 corrects a chrominance signal by an encoding mode signal transmitted from the transmitting side. When operation is shifted to an encoding stop mode, a chrominance signal is corrected so that the just previous action mode will continue for this period. Thus inversion of a color difference signal during the encoding stop mode can be prevented.</p> |
