TRANSPARENT DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A transparent display device is provided to switch a color mode, black mode, and a transparent mode, thereby providing a display device facing the background of a rear surface. CONSTITUTION: A blind panel unit(110) includes a pair of first transparent substrates(115) and a numatic liquid crystal substance. According to a first voltage, the blind panel unit blocks an incoming light of all wavelength bands. A display panel unit(120) includes a pair of a second transparent substrate(123) and a cholesteric substance(125). According to a second voltage, the display panel transmits incident light of all wavelength bands. The first and second voltages are applied between the first and the second transparent substrates.
