The device (1) has a fixing unit for fixing a base (5) on a piece (2). The fixing unit has elastic tabs (7) protruding from a surface (5a) of the base and surrounding a cylindrical space (8) in which an axial recess (6) of the base is axially opened. The tabs carry hooks (9) at an end opposite to the base. The tabs are engaged in a slotted hole (10) realized in the piece. The hooks are designed to interlock by radial elastic deformation, and the tabs on an edge (10a) of an opening of the hole are opened opposite to the base. The pre-maintenance device is molded in a plastic material such that a screw is screwed into an axial recess of the base.
