PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having a road noise reducing effect and a high manufacturing efficiency. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has a sound absorbing member 10 attached on its inner surface. The sound absorbing member 10 is composed of a laminated body including two different nonwoven fabrics 11, 12. In the different nonwoven fabrics 11, 12 constituting the laminated body, the thermal shrinkage at 150°C of the nonwoven fabric 11 provided on inner side in the tire radial direction is higher than that of the fabric 12 provided on outer side in the tire radial direction. Specifically, the tire is manufactured in such a way that, in molding the tire, the laminated body including two different nonwoven fabrics 11, 12 is attached to the inner surface of the tire, and the tire is vulcanized in the state in which the laminated body is attached to it.
