PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of effectively utilizing a storage area used for image processing and reducing control burdens needed for the image processing. SOLUTION: The game machine includes: an image information storage means capable of storing at least compressed image information in which image information corresponding to a prescribed image is compressed; a drawing information storage means capable of storing at least drawing information needed for drawing the image; an image display control means for displaying the image in an image display device on the basis of the drawing information stored in the specified area of the drawing information storage means; and a compressed image developing means for developing the compressed image information stored in the image information storage means and storing the image information obtained by the development in the specified area of the drawing information storage means as the drawing information.
