PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe press belt having excellent shape retention properties of recessed groove. SOLUTION: In the shoe press belt for papermaking obtained by integrating a reinforcing fiber substrate 6 with a polyurethane layer 2 in which the reinforcing fiber substrate 6 is embedded in the polyurethane layer 2, the shoe press belt is composed of a polyurethane layer obtained from a urethane prepolymer prepared by reacting a p-phenylene-diisocyanate compound with a long-chain polyol and a curing agent selected from 4,4'-methylene bis(2,6-diethyl-3-chloroaniline), 4,4'-methylene bis(2-chloroaniline), methylene bis(2-ethyl-6-methylaniline), 4,4'-methylene bis(2-ethylbenzenamine), methylene bis(2,3-dichloroanilne), 4,4'-methylenedianiline, 3,5-dimethylthiotoluene-2,4-diamine, 3,5-dimethylthiotoluene-2,6-diamine, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
