PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve output efficiency of motors by efficiently cooling AC motors in the AC motors including a plurality of stator core teeth disposed circumferentially, coils wound close to side faces of the respective stator core teeth, and refrigerant pipes abutting on the coils. SOLUTION: The refrigerant pipe 20 is extended along side faces of a plurality of secondary teeth 17a, 17b at the side of the stator core teeth 17 of the coil 21, and is disposed so that the direction of current circulating along an extension direction does not become the same direction around the side faces of the secondary teeth of the respective secondary teeth 17a, 17b, thus causing a current circulating through the refrigerant pipe 20 to cancel mutually by a change in magnetic flux through the stator core teeth 17, and reducing heat generation in the refrigerant pipe 20. Further, the contact area between the stator core teeth 17 and the refrigerant pipe 20 increases, thus improving cooling efficiency of the stator core teeth 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
