PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cylinder in which poor slide of a piston is prevented. SOLUTION: This air cylinder includes the piston 11 displaced by air pressure and a rubber magnet 16 disposed on the piston 11. Fluororubber is used as rubber material of the rubber magnet 16. Consequently, swelling of the rubber magnet 16 is inhibited, and poor slid of the piston 11 is inhibited. Moreover, poor slide of the piston 11 is inhibited further by keeping a dimension of a clearance between an outer circumference part of the piston 11 and an inner circumference surface of a housing 12 equal to or more than 0.2 mm and equal to or less than 0.8 mm.
