<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security medium that does not require a standard pattern and is not affected by variations in degree of similarity between a standard pattern and a pattern to be tested due to instrumental errors of an authenticity determiner, and also, is difficult to duplicate and has high security even while reducing an FMR and an FNMR. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic ink layer 4 is formed by pattern-printing a magnetic ink that absorbs infrared light. The magnetic ink layer is formed on a base material 2 that reflects infrared light. A shielding layer 5, allowing near-infrared light to transmit therethrough, is formed so as to cover the magnetic ink layer. Therefore, it is possible to execute authenticity determination by comparison between two types of measurement results obtained by a magnetic sensor and infrared-light reading. Consequently, it is not necessary to prepare a specific standard pattern, and also, it allows formation of a variable information part 3 for each security medium 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
