<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus which includes a heat radiation function so that the image display apparatus can be installed in outdoor environments in which the image display apparatus is exposed to direct sunlight, and has a prolonged life and a high degree of reliability. <P>SOLUTION: In the image display apparatus 100, a projector 102 as an image display means, and a transmission type screen 106, on which an image projected by the projector 102 is displayed, are housed in an outer housing 101; and the image is projected to a back surface of the screen 106 disposed on a projection path of the projector 102. The outer housing 101 is divided into a first heat-insulated section 201, in which the projector 102 is disposed, and a second heat-insulated section 202 in which the screen 106 is disposed. The first heat-insulated section includes a window 104, an exhaust duct 103 for performing exhaust of the projector, an intake air filter 107 and an exhaust fan 108; and the second heat-insulated section 202 includes a mirror 105, and a heat radiation means 401 on a back surface on an opposite side of the screen 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
