PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature measurement system, along with a temperature measuring method, a temperature control system of an elution tester using the same, and a temperature control method, capable of measuring temperature of reserved material from outside a vessel in which the material is held, with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The temperature at an outer peripheral surface of a test vessel 5 is measured with a first temperature sensor 11. At the position outside the test vessel 5, away from the outer peripheral surface, the temperature of atmosphere is measured using a second temperature sensor 12. Based on the measuring results with the first temperature sensor 11 and the second temperature sensor 12, the temperature of a test liquid in the test vessel 5 is calculated. So, compared with such configuration as a temperature sensor is arranged within the test vessel 5 in which test liquid is held, stretching of wiring is easy, with no possibility of causing short circuit due to contacting of wiring to the test liquid, allowing measurement of the temperature of test liquid with a simple configuration from outside the test vessel 5 in which the test liquid is held.
