<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel ell system preventing the shortage of humidity in a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 1 includes the fuel cell 2, an air passage 4 through which air is supplied to the fuel cell 2, an air offgas passage 6 through which air offgas exhausted from the fuel cell 2 flows, an air pump 3 sending air into the fuel cell 2, a humidifier 5 transferring moisture from the air offgas passage 6 to the air passage 4, a back-pressure valve 7 adjusting the pressure of air in the fuel cell 2, a humidifier inlet gas temperature sensor 23, a cooling water temperature sensor 24, and an electronic controller 40 reducing the air flow rate supplying to the fuel cell 2 by decreasing the output of the air pump 3 and increasing the cathode pressure of the fuel cell 2 by decreasing the opening of the back-pressure valve 7 when the cathode humidity calculated based on temperature information detected with the humidifier inlet gas temperature sensor 23 and the cooling water temperature sensor 24 is lower than the prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
