TRANSMITTER, RECEIVER, VISIBLE LIGHT COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND VISIBLE LIGHT COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter constituting a visible light communication system which can simultaneously attain high-speed data communication environment and stable data communication environment, even though it has a comparatively low speed.

SOLUTION: The transmitter is provided with: a plurality of light sources which emit lights of mutually differing colors; a first modulation part which modulates first transmission data to generate a first modulation signal; a second modulation part which modulates second transmission data to generate a second modulation signal having frequency lower than that of the first modulation signal and amplitude larger than that of the first modulation signal; a signal addition part which adds the first modulation signal generated by the first modulation part and the second modulation signal generated by the second modulation part together, to generate an added modulation signal; and a light emission control part which makes the plurality of light sources emit lights, based on the added modulation signal generated by the signal addition part.
