PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center pressuring force automatic control device for automatically controlling center pressurizing force according to grinding resistance due to rough grinding, precise grinding, and fine grinding. SOLUTION: The grinding cycle is equipped with: the rough grinding; precise grinding; and fine grinding. A center pressurization device 37 that automatically controls the center pressurizing force corresponding to grinding resistance occurring during the rough grinding, precise grinding, and fine grinding, is provided. The center pressurizing force by the center pressurization device is changed in stepwise for each rough grinding, precise grinding, and fine grinding, or changed in a stepless manner or a curve manner according to the progress of the rough grinding, precise grinding, and fine grinding.
