摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further simplify a constitution of a power control circuit, and to prevent an idle slide in a cross region between torque characteristics at double-speed expansion and a limit adhesion curve of a wheel in a power device of an electric vehicle in which the torque characteristics of electric regeneration is expanded to a double-speed region by a short-time double voltage rating of a DC shunt-wound electric motor. SOLUTION: The power control device of the electric vehicle includes: an armature control system constituted by combining a step-down/step-up DC transformation circuit of the same current polarity with a free wheel diode, a main circuit chopper, and a reactor and an armature circuit of an electric motor group to main-circuit contactors connected in series for operation positive-electrode side, deceleration, acceleration, and operation negative-electrode side; and a field control system constituted by combining an excitation control circuit formed of a forward/backward advancing contactor and an excitation chopper to a field circuit of an armature group. An equalizer and a voltage-difference sensor are arranged at the connecting point of series armature pairs and linked to the main-circuit chopper, and an abrupt change of a proportionally-divided voltage generated by a drive armature of an idle-sliding wheel is suppressed, thus making the wheel re-adhesive.
