PURPOSE: A recording medium for storing data, a recording method and a recording apparatus are provided to store data which a user desires for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A recording medium includes an administration zone for storing administration information and a data zone(200) for recording user data. The administration information includes data for storing data. The administration zone is a CDZ(Control Data Zone). The CDZ includes a read-in zone(100) of the recording medium and records the information for controlling user data. The administration zone is a BCA(Burst Cutting Area). The BCA records information related to the password of the recording medium. The administrative zone is an RMA(Recording Manaement Area).
