PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive impervious wall which facilitates assembling operations. SOLUTION: This impervious wall includes a plurality of sheet piles 10 which are each elongated in a vertical direction and continuously provided in such a manner as to be directed in one direction A along the upper surface of ground 4, and an impervious sheet 12 which is arranged along one surface 11a of both surfaces of a sheet pile wall 11 formed of the plurality of sheet piles 10 and the upper end of which is fixed on the upper end side of the sheet pile wall 11. The one surface 11a of the sheet pile wall 11 is formed in such a shape that recesses 26 and protrusions 27 are alternately repeated in one direction A. The impervious wall is provided with a plurality of vertical cable bodies 30 which are each elongated in a vertical direction, which have each lower end connected to the lower end of the sheet pile wall 11, which have each upper end connected to the upper end side of the sheet pile wall 11, and which make each longitudinal midway portion push the impervious sheet 12 into each recess 26.
