PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform mirroring an engine without substantially interrupting or breaking outputs of audio signals. SOLUTION: A region (transmission channel) having the same size in an audio signal region 102 of a transmission frame is allocated to each of an active engine C and a standby engine D. The active engine C reads input signals written in regions A, B and F by an input device, performs signal processing, and writes output signals into a region C of the transmission frame. The standby engine D reads the input signals written in the regions A, B and F by the input device, performs the same signal processing as that of the engine C, and writes output signals into a region D of the transmission frame. When an OSF flag of the active engine C is indicative of a normal state, an output device reads the output signals from the region C and outputs the output signals, but when the OSF flag is indicative of an abnormal state, the output device reads the output signals from the region D and outputs the output signals.
