摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material layer which suppresses an increase in viscosity of electrode paste, and improves dispersibility and current collection properties of positive electrode active material. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery, which is structured by holding the positive electrode active material layer containing the positive electrode active material 38 on a positive electrode collector, includes a step of giving organic acid 39 to a surface of the positive electrode active material 38, a step of preparing paste for forming a positive electrode active material layer formed by dispersing the positive electrode active material 40 with the organic acid given, a binder formed of vinylidene fluoride polymer, and conductive material in a predetermined solvent, and a step of forming the positive electrode active material layer by coating the prepared paste for forming positive electrode active material layer on the surface of the positive electrode collector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
