PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric appliance which is transited to a plurality of states different in power use amount at any time, and is used by selecting a protection circuit suitable to each state, and to provide an information processing device which provides a user of an interface for browsing and accessing a document edited by utilizing a document editing service provided on a web in a similar way as for a document file recorded on a local file system. SOLUTION: The electric appliance is constituted so that a threshold for limiting a power amount fed to a load from a power supply is changed according to the state of the load.
