PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash structure for a vehicle door, which enhances the workability, simplifies the structure, and saves the space. SOLUTION: In the sash structure for the vehicle door, a closed section is formed of an outer panel and an inner panel below the vehicle door, and a sash 22 is formed of an upper sash 23 which is provided on the upper part of the closed section and inserted from the upper side into the closed section, and a lower sash 24 to be connected to the lower end of the upper sash 23, an engagement hole 23f to be opened in the surface-back direction of the door is formed in one of the upper sash 23 and the lower sash 24, and an engagement projecting part 27b to be engaged with the engagement hole 23f is provided on the other of the upper sash 23 and the lower sash 24.
