PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video work which is not printed on paper and obtained by capturing a teaching material and a work of penmanship or calligraphy not in an oblique direction but from directly above, and to provide a method for the same. SOLUTION: A video camera (2) is installed at a right angle (3) above a person who performs penmanship or calligraphy to capture the image, a video shows the exact shape of characters and "strokes" showing the movement of a pen in writing characters.
