PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate switching of an image display application and television viewing in a digital television, and to enhance operability in operating the image display application on the television. SOLUTION: There is provided a television signal receiver that is operable by means of a remote controller (116) that includes a cursor button and a plurality of color buttons which have different colors, the television signal receiver is characterized in that in a case where one thumbnail image is selected from a list of a plurality of thumbnail images by operation of the cursor button, so that the television signal receiver changes from a state in which the list of the plurality of the thumbnail images and a plurality of function items are displayed on a screen to a state in which the selected image is displayed on the screen, the television signal receiver changes the plurality of the function items that correspond to the plurality of the color buttons displayed on the screen.
