PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover which is light and has superior strength even when formed into an elongated shape and can be transported without using a special vehicle. SOLUTION: A plurality of split units each having a top plate forming portion making up a top plate and two side frame forming portions supporting both edges of the top plate forming portion from below are connected through on-site constructive fixing means, with end faces of the side frame forming portions set facing each other, to form the cover. Each side frame forming portion is formed by assembling plate materials into a truss structure, and each fixing means has a lower end fixing member with a platelike portion. The platelike portions of the lower end fixing members are attached over the lower ends of the side frame forming portions of the two split units connected together, and are fixed to the lower ends of the side frame forming portions with bolts and nuts or an adhesive.
